my drains are blocked.help?
hi all. can you help me?? i had a party over the weekend and some ass let a whole loo roll down the toilet and now all my drains are blocked. i have tried caustic soda, but theyre still blocked.anyone have any ideas? i would like not to have to pay a man to come in. im a woman on my own with no knight to save the day
If the toilet is plugged with too much toilet paper
first try plunging the toilet
if that doesn’t work you can try a toilet snake/toilet auger
this should push/pull through any toilet paper that has it plugged
You can get a toilet auger at your local home improvement store or plumbing wholesaler
Since all your drains are plugged, you have a bigger problem then just the toilet, you will probably need a professional person, they will have all the tools and equipment to solve the problem in no time. If its not backing up in the basement then the plug is in the house, so it will take a smaller auger to clean, if it is backing up in the basement then they will use a larger one that will clean the main sewer line coming from the house. Either way it will cost about $100 – $150 to have fixed. Just call a couple people. Good luck.
